My name is Seyda Ipek (pronounced like Sheyda E-pack). I am a post-doctoral researcher at University of California Irvine.
I am a particle phenomenologist. My work is closely related to the physics done at particle colliders like the LHC. My research interests include beyond the Standard Model theories, motivated to solve the dark matter and hierarchy problems. I am also working on new physics models that would explain baryogenesis – the mechanism to produce more baryons than anti-baryons to explain the matter – antimatter asymmetry of the Universe.
